Privacy Policy

WedTrack (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps you keep track of the weddings you’re invited to. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it’s used, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

• Account information: the email address and password you use to sign in. Passwords are stored securely (hashed) by our authentication provider — we never see your plaintext password.
• Wedding details you enter: the information you add to the app — couples’ names, dates, venues, dress codes, RSVP status, gifts, outfits, travel, related events, notes, and any photos you upload (such as a save-the-date).

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide the app — to store your data and show it back to you across your devices. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

How your data is stored and protected

Your data is stored in our database (Supabase) and is protected so that only your account can read or write it (enforced with row-level security). Each user can access only their own data.

Service providers

We rely on a few trusted services to run the app:

• Supabase — authentication and database storage for your account and data.
• Vercel — hosting of the app.
• Anthropic — the optional “scan a save-the-date” feature sends the photo you choose to Anthropic’s API to read the couple, date, and location from it. The image is processed to return those details and is not used to train models. If you don’t use that feature, no photos are sent to Anthropic.

Photos

Photos you upload (e.g., save-the-dates or outfit photos) are stored with your wedding data. The save-the-date scan additionally sends the chosen image to Anthropic, as described above, only when you use that feature.

Data retention and deletion

You can edit or delete your weddings at any time within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
